My baby boy has arrived!

My baby boy has arrived! 5 days earlier than expected due date and lucky that last Friday was my last day! The delivery went smoothly and it only took me 15 minutes to push him out!

Singapore

It's a long flight and I am pregnant. But I have decided to take a vacation before baby no. 2 arrives since my daughter is still under two years old and I don't have to pay for her airfare. We have picked Singapore. I had been there once before I get married and the city has given me a very nice impression. People are polite (as far as I can see), great transportation system (I took subway to the hotel from the airport and it's no problem with luggages, a child and stroller), and clean. It was quite hot during day time in Singapore but in early evening, the weather was great. Since I am 6 month pregnant, so we did not have a very hectic travel schedule. We went to Orchard Street which was famous for shopping (but what I did mostly was window shopping since I found that shopping at the outlets in the States are cheaper with more variety). We also went to the zoo there and my daughter was having so much fun! It was nice to see her running around and pointing to animals! We also went to see the famous Merilion but however the main one was under maintenance. Overall, it was a great trip and hope that after baby no. 2 arrives, we will come back to visit again!

Baby's 1st Trip - Calgary

My baby girl is 6 months now and it's her 1st Easter, so we decided to fly to Calgary and going to Banff and Lake Louise for her very first trip by plane. The hotel that we were staying at in Banff had some nice Easter Decoration and we had a nice brunch there! Even though our trip was short (only 3 days) but everyone was having fun and if we were able to get discount airfare next time, I really want to bring her there again during Easter time.

Pittsburgh

We have decided to bring our daughter to Pittsburgh. It's a few hours drive from where we live and it's a great getaway for 3 days. We stayed at the downtown of Pittsburgh and since it's holiday, the parking lot only charged $6 for parking full day, which was great! Once we parked the car, we were in walking distance to PNC Park and other shopping area in the downtown district. And since it's the Easter long weekend, the hotel had Easter egg hunt inside the hotel which my daughter was very interested in it. It was a very relaxing weekend and it's certainly a place that we would go back every year.

San Francisco

Before we came back to Canada, we stopped over at San Francisco. This was the last trip before I go back to work. It seems so fast that it's been a year and now it's almost time to go back to work.

Since there's like 9 hours in time difference between Hong Kong and San Francisco, we were all very sleepy for the 3 days that we stayed there. We rented a car for the first day and we went to Santa Rosa for the Snoopy Museum and the Golden Gate Bridge and the rest of the days we stayed there, we just simply walked around since the hotel that we stayed at was very close by China Town and very convenient to take transportation to other places.

Taiwan

For part of our Asia trip, we went to Taiwan as well. We stayed there for one week and my hubby kept on saying that we have to come back there to visit there sometime. He really loves the food there.

Hong Kong and Japan

In October, we travelled again (and yes, it seemed like I did travel a lot before my maternity leave ended). This time, we headed to Asia and went to Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan. These cities were very crowded and busy and we had a lot of great food there.
